Discouraged is a understatement!!!

The title says it all. I've been doing the 30 Day Shred, eating cleaner and counting calories and still haven't lost a damn pound! Pretty much makes me feel like crap. I just don't know what to do.

What makes it even worse hubster tells me he's lost 7 pounds! Im proud of him, I really am. I just with I could lose some too.

I am thinking about pitching the 30 Day Shred and looking into something else right now.

I really believe I need some straight forward cardio to help me get going and the 30 Day Shred isn't enough it seems.

I've been looking at Zumba and a few other things. I want something fun and where I won't get bored to easily.
Any Suggestions??

I know I shouldn't let this bother me and Ill really try not to let it get to me too bad. Ill keep on moving forward the best I can even If I have to cut down to only eating salads!

I just wanted to give a quick update. But Im tired and frustrated so off to bed.

Days 4 and 5


Day 4

Sunday was a beautiful day. It was warm with a cool breeze. The Aj's loved getting to go outside and play. We actually went to the park that afternoon and walked the big track pretty much uphill too. We actually did a little running with Ayden. It felt awesome not to be so winded even with Alayna on my back.

That nights workout was a bit tough. It wasn't that I was super sore anymore, I think my body was just really tired. I pushed through though. My wall sits and planks were great either. I also was super super under my calories for the day even with snacks in there.

Onto Day 5

It started raining late last night and has been going all day so we didn't get any walking in. Probably won't be able to for a few days due to rain.

Today was a lazy day. Watched movies all day pretty much. Going to have to get up and clean tomorrow since I didnt do anything today! 

Actually took me a while to get up to set everything up to work out. Good Friends always help with that!

Tonights work out seemed like a breeze!! I still had sweat coming off me but I feel stronger! I only had to stop once in the beginning and I believe if I stretch my calves out better it Will fix that problem!! I can't wait to get a scale to see if o have dropped any weight. It Will only motivate me more.

Looks like I am under calories again tonight but not as bad as last night for sure!

Day 3 of 30

So I completed day 3 with a little bit more ease. With it being a bit easier only tells me Im doing something right which makes me feel AWESOME!

My legs are still really sore and I am starting to feel it in my abs and arms too.

I did my wall sit and plank tonight after working out. My plank was only a few seconds longer than last time but my wall sit was crazy! Totally not what I was expecting! I guess getting distracted talking to hubs helps.

My calories were okay today. We ended up having pizza for dinner visiting with the brother in law and kids. I did eat a salad before the pizza though. I still didn't go over and about 650 short for the day. That is including what I burned off. Tomorrow Will be a better day for eating.

Off to go wash this coconut oil outta my hair!

Hello sweat.... Day 2 of 30

Good Bye Fat!!! 

Just got done doing day 2 of the 30 day shred and let me tell you it hurts!!! I was able to do more tonight than I did last night which makes me feel better. Hubster was laughing at me at one point because I don't have any weights so I used the family size soup cans! Lol improvising works well! I didn't want a lot of weight, just enough to feel it!! 

So I skipped out on my wall sit and plank tonight.(I know shame on me) but I was so ready for some water and a shower! 

I also took some pictures tonight of me now so I have something to compare too after the 30 days. I can't wait to see the results. I'll probably post them later on when I get on my computer. I'm quite ashamed of them and myself really. Now I keep thinking "why did I let myself get like this?"  

Now I plan to beat the heck outta this fat! Well I shouldn't say plan too.... I WILL lose this weight and get in shape! 

Also my Ergo came in the mail today!! Totally excited about it! I figured out how to get Aj2 on my back with no help and she loves it!! Going to have to keep my hair up though, she kept pulling my hair tonight. Lol 

Just completed my calorie count for tonight and I'm under again. Not too bad though. I'm having a hard time eating my amount even with eating snacks. Hopefully it will get better over time. 


 Sorry if this post is more of rambling tonight, I keep getting distracted by the tv.

Day 1 of 30

So I just did day one of the 30 day shred and it kicked my butt!!! I did do the best I could though! It didn't help that I started getting a leg crap towards the end, but I did make it!!! 

Looks like ill also be under my calories again for the day! 


Just wanted to share that I sweated like crazy and burned some fat! 

PS: Anybody who is wanting to do the 30 Day Shred but don't have the money to buy, YouTube.com has all three levels!

Get Ready, Get set......

Now I am just waiting to go!! 

I've been walking a few times but its hard when you have a 13 month old who doesn't walk well. I just bought my first baby carrier and waiting on it to get here!! It's a Ergo sport. Hopefully with what it's made out of  Aj2 won't get too hot being on my back!!

 I have been doing good about counting my calories and doing wall sits and elbow plankes. I've gotten my wall sits to two minutes and my plankes to one minute. I think that's pretty good since I haven't done anything like that in forever!! The biggest trick is getting the hubster to do it with me! He's all about eating better, just not wanting to work out! 

I've also been drinking this yummy detox drink. I got it from Here. It's a very yummy apple and cinnamon water. Even if it doesn't help with the whole detox process at least it helps me drink more water!! 

I plan on starting the 30 day shred tonight after the kids go to bed. I've had it a while and just never got into it. I plan on starting to get up at like 6am to do it so I'm energized for the day. I've asked the hubs to get me up two days in a row but that's failed so it looks like its up to me! 

Maybe me getting up earlier will be a good thing. More energy and some alone time to myself which I never get! 

I am hoping next week to get a scale so I can track what I am losing and gaining. Hoping for no gaining!! I know there are ups and downs I just hope there are more downs that ups on the scale. Hoping maybe it will motivate hubs some if he sees me losing. 

I really just want us to be healthy for our kids. I don't care aBout being skinny or fitting into size 0 jeans. I have always been bigger and curvy and I like it that way. 

So in turn my new moto is "Destroy what Destroys you" (thanks to my cousin)
Just makes me want to destroy everything that's in my way of reaching my goal. 

And speaking of goals. My first weight loss goal is to get below 200. When I do, it would be 4 years since I've been below!! 

Well for me, I'm off to pick up this house since BOTH kids are down for a nap.

Hmmm......

So I started counting my calories yesterday and actually got no where near what I should of ate. I did drink a total of  88oz of water which is a complete first for me in a while. I feel like my milk supply has doubled because of it. Which isn't that great since Alayna only nurses like 4 maybe 5 times a day! 

Today I have almost met my calorie count for the day, but haven't had as much water. Hubster came home from work today so it threw me off just a bit. 

Now that the rain is gone and the ground is a bit dryer I plan on going to the park tomorrow and walking. I got to figure out how to tote Alayna since she isn't walking walking yet. I'd love to be able to do a back carry, but I don't have a carrier for it! Maybe I can talk hubster into one in a few weeks once he sees I mean business about going out and losing weight. 

I actually had a Dick's sporting good gift card and was looking for some 10lb dumbbells but they don't carry them! I ended up with a pair of shoes instead! What woman doesn't need more shoes?! Now I get to shop some where else for them! 

Well off to fold some laundry and put it away(ewwww) since I didn't get it done today.

I am a mommy on a mission!

Today is January 1st, 2013. The start of a new year and beginning for new things. This year I plan on losing tons of weight, being more healthy over all, being a better mother to my children, a better wife to my husband and over all better all around. 

I want to learn to stop yelling when I get frustrate with my kids and not fight so much with my hubby. I want to organize my house just a bit better too. 

I've already started the organization process today. I have 3 huge trash bags of junk sitting on my porch waiting to go to the dump.

I am in the process of turning a closet that had shelves into a coat closet. No shelves equals no cutter or junk for the hubby to set up there! Mind you that is where 2 of the trash bags came from! I will share pictures when its all  complete. 

Tomorrow I am going to start counting calories using MyFitnessPal. (cljackson08 if anybody wants to follow) Eat more fruits and veggies and less meat is my plan. I am going to start making my bread again instead of buying it since its so much more healthy for you. I plan on making the kids waffles and such too instead of buying. I still have to be careful because I am still nursing Alayna. I plan on continuing until she is 2 or she chooses to self wean. 

Here I plan on documenting just a bit of everything. From me being better with the kids and hubby to organizing the house and losing weight!
